About the role
- Responsible for the strategic direction and operational excellence of IT infrastructure and security.
- Reports directly to the CEO.
- Manages operational resilience and IT risk, including conducting risk assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
- Ensures business continuity in the event of a breach.
- Serves as the primary contact for cybersecurity and data protection matters.
- Works closely with Engineering, Product, and Compliance teams for coherent information and security approach.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing IT strategies and cybersecurity programs in a regulated framework.
- Deep understanding of IT infrastructure, network security, and cloud computing.
- Strong knowledge of data privacy regulations and best practices.
- Experience in the financial services or cryptocurrency industry.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are a plus.
