  • Labor & Employment Attorney managing employment litigation and compliance in a hybrid law firm in Portland, OR. Seeking mid-level associate with hands-on experience in labor and employment matters.

Responsibilities

  • Attorneys in this role will work on a broad range of employment-related matters, including:
  • Employment litigation in state and federal courts
  • Discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims
  • Wage and hour and class/representative actions
  • Advising employers on compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Drafting and reviewing employment policies, handbooks, and agreements
  • Assisting with investigations, hearings, and administrative proceedings

Requirements

  • **Current State License **
  • **3–5 years** of labor & employment experience
  • Experience handling employment litigation and/or advisory matters
  • Strong legal research, writing, and motion practice skills
  • Ability to manage matters independently with appropriate supervision
  • Experience working directly with clients and internal teams
