About the role
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Reviewing, coding and posting of ongoing business transactions
- Execution and controlling of payment transactions
- Communication with internal and external contacts such as auditors or tax consultants
- Continuous development and optimization of accounting processes
- Participation in various finance projects
Requirements
- Degree in business administration with a focus on finance/accounting, completed further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter (certified balance sheet accountant), or vocational training as a tax clerk
- Knowledge of accounting and tax matters
- Strong analytical skills and a structured way of working
- Proficient in common MS Office applications, especially MS Excel; ideally experience with Navision
- Team player with a sense of responsibility and a positive mindset
- Business-fluent German and good English skills
- Affinity for numbers and IT topics
