About the role
- Senior Accountant at FWU Life Insurance responsible for financial transactions and reporting. Engaging in compliance with Luxembourg regulations and enhancing the financial processes.
Responsibilities
- Buchhaltung aller relevanten Transaktionen gemäß dem Versicherungsrecht in Luxemburg
- Überwachung des täglichen Cash Managements
- Mitwirkung bei der Vorbereitung und Kontrolle der internen und regulatorischen Berichterstattung
- Unterstützung im Abschlussprozess der Jahresabschlüsse
- Bearbeitung der Bestätigungsbriefe für Banken und verwandte Parteien bei Ultimo
- Mitwirkung an allen Buchungsposten für eine unserer Niederlassungen
- Verantwortung für die Veröffentlichung der Jahresabschlüsse
- Mitwirkung im gruppenweiten Planungs- und Budgetierungsprozess
- Mitwirkung bei der Erstellung und dem Upload von Finanzrückversicherungsdaten und entsprechender Buchungen
Requirements
- Hochschulabschluss (Bachelor) in Rechnungswesen oder ähnlichem Bereich
- mindestens 5-8 Jahre einschlägige Erfahrung als Buchhalter im Finanzbereich in Luxemburg
- fundierte Kenntnisse der luxemburgischen GAAP-Buchhaltung für Banken und/oder Versicherungsunternehmen
- erste Erfahrungen mit dem DATEV-Buchhaltungssystem
- erste Erfahrungen in der Buchhaltung von Factoring-Transaktionen
- Erfahrung in der Buchhaltung von Investitionen basierend auf Transaktionsjournalen
- fortgeschrittene Computerkenntnisse, einschließlich MS Office und Finanzberichterstattungssoftware
- gute Kenntnisse von ERP-Systemen im Finanzwesen
- fließendes Englisch und gute Deutschkenntnisse, Französisch von Vorteil
- hohe Organisationsfähigkeit und Eigenmotivation
