About the role

  • Junior Lawyer responsible for contracts and real estate matters at a top Brazilian law firm. Involves legal research, document analysis, and assisting in real estate transactions.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting legal opinions in corporate contracts and real estate law;
  • Conducting legal doctrine and case law research;
  • Reviewing contracts and documents to support legal strategies;
  • Supporting real estate transactions (acquisition, disposition, leasing and development/incorporation, among others);
  • Assisting with real estate due diligence, including title searches, chain of ownership, encumbrances, zoning and environmental compliance;
  • Managing deadlines, controlling document flow and monitoring transaction timelines.

Requirements

  • Active OAB/RJ bar registration
  • 2–3 years since graduating with a law degree
  • Previous experience at a law firm and in contracts and real estate practice
  • Proactive attitude
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with clarity and objectivity
  • Postgraduate degree in Commercial Contracts and Real Estate and/or related fields
