About the role
- Warehouse administrator managing the physical inflows and outflows of goods at CEVA Logistics. Collaborating closely with team leaders and ensuring proper management of warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- The warehouse administrator carries out the various stages relating to the physical inflows and outflows of goods at the warehouse
- Accept, store, prepare, and arrange goods in the warehouse
- Receive instructions from the team leader, and check the condition of the equipment
- Accept (and/or) store goods and prepare and release products based on instructions issued by their line management, and using appropriate equipment, as needed
- Check batches accepted at the warehouse in accordance with their line management’s instructions
- Prepare shipments, in accordance with their line management's instructions
- Organize the storage of goods and/or products, take into consideration any special requirements, include hazards posed, and the available space in designated areas in accordance with the storage, working methods, processes and rules applicable (or computerized inventory management, if available)
- Use appropriate equipment, as needed
- Update the documents and/or materials made available to them as part of their tasks
- Provide those documents to the team leader within the determined timeframes
- Scan labels whenever necessary
- Supervise scanning through PDA on Link by drivers
- Take part in the warehouse inventories
- Handle hazardous materials
- Drive vehicles that require a special license
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Dutch and English is mandatory (Regular contact with Customer);
- Forklift driving permit is mandatory (Reach Truck permit is a plus);
