About the role
- Payable Accountant ensuring compliance with accounting processes and managing treasury operations for CMA CGM. Involves invoice processing, account reconciliation, and collaborating with global teams.
Responsibilities
- Ensure accounting bookings, payments, and analysis of all accounts payable in compliance with Group rules, processes, and working procedures
- Post all supplier invoices after relevant approval is obtained
- Match payments with invoices/credit memos
- Perform account balances reconciliation with partners
- Issue statement of accounts (AP)
- Management of all treasury operations and bank relations
- Performing vendor invoice posting in line with AP procedures
- Providing support to other issues related to accounting during the month-end/year-end closing, monitoring, and reviewing accounting and related systems
- Make daily and weekly payment preparations, digital payments, and bank payments
Requirements
- BA degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Treasury experience, preferably in a bank or finance, treasury department
- Good command of English, both verbal and written; required to communicate with global teams (part of the interview will take place in English)
- Knowledge in MS Office Applications (especially in Excel)
- Excellent time management, communication, and organizational skills
- High sense of responsibility and ability to work in harmony with team members
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a multi-task environment
- Able to work 4 days at the office in Istanbul (hybrid)
