About the role

  • Accountant managing financial operations and accounting activities for Arrive in Poland. Ensuring financial integrity and supporting strategic expansion across Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping and oversee the full Accounts Payable (AP) flow to ensure timely settlement of obligations
  • Ensure subcontractor agreements are correctly executed and invoices are issued/processed according to contract terms
  • Prepare financial reports for management, assist in cash flow forecasting, and contribute to the development of annual budgets
  • Lead month-end procedures, including complex accruals, revenue/expense recording, and full account reconciliations
  • Monitor and analyze financial data related to the mobile application, ensuring accurate reporting and oversight
  • Proactively support the financial setup and integration of additional European countries into our reporting structure
  • Support the preparation of documentation for government institutions and ensure adherence to internal financial controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3–5+ years of experience in a broad accounting role, practical hands-on experience in accounting specifically working with Polish GAAP is a must, ideally within an international environment
  • Strong analytical skills and experience managing financial processes end-to-end
  • Proficiency in modern ERP systems (experience with Netsuite/Medius is a plus) and Excel
  • Professional fluency in Polish & English.
