About the role

  • Senior Customer Solutions Engineer acting as trusted technical advisor ensuring customers utilize Cloudflare platform. Collaborate with teams to improve customer success and retention.

Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted technical advisor throughout a customer’s lifecycle
  • Leverage product expertise to ensure Enterprise customers utilize Cloudflare platform fully
  • Bring deep architectural expertise, hands-on technical leadership, and advanced troubleshooting skills
  • Work closely with Customer Success Managers and other teams at Cloudflare
  • Ensures customer retention and expansion through relationship building and technical guidance
  • Collaborate with Customer Support, Engineering, and others to assist with technical escalations
  • Identify opportunities for expansion for existing customers

Requirements

  • At least 6 years of prior experience in technical post-sales roles in cybersecurity or internet technology
  • Fluency in German AND English
  • Bachelor or comparable degree in the IT field is desirable, Master degree is a plus
  • Deep understanding of how the internet works, including layers and protocols of the OSI model
  • Enjoying the adventure of troubleshooting and solving technical problems
  • Technical curiosity and passion for staying up to date with Cloudflare’s products and industry trends
  • Ability to manage a project, work to deadlines, and prioritize between competing demands
