About the role
- AI Founding Engineer developing solutions for dental practices and enhancing application layers. Focused on achieving high levels of automation through LLM-driven technologies.
Responsibilities
- Further develop the application layer: You will build the working environment for our coding experts and implement specialized agents for billing/reimbursement cases with the goal of achieving 90% automation reliably in production.
- Integrate practice systems seamlessly: APIs, UI automation/RPA, local agents — you ensure secure and robust data flows into practices without requiring system changes, and with proper monitoring and alerting.
- Scalable codebase & rollouts: You drive architecture, multi-tenant capability, configuration and zero-downtime deployments. Ship quickly without sacrificing quality.
- Build with real users: You work in live production closely with medical coding experts and dental practices, gather direct feedback and measurably increase automation rate, throughput and accuracy.
Requirements
- 4–6 years of software development experience (Python, TypeScript, React/Next.js, SQL)
- Solid design patterns, testing, CI/CD and cloud experience (AWS/Azure)
- AI/automation hands-on: initial experience with LLMs/agents/RAG — or demonstrably fast ability to ramp up; focus on production deployments, not just notebook demos
- Integration & reliability mindset: APIs, UI automation/RPA; observability (monitoring/alerting, SLIs/SLOs), queues/retries/idempotency
- Working style & language: build fast, learn, deliver; ownership & product thinking; German (C1)
