Responsibilities
- Reporting to the VP Finance, the Finance Manager based in Barcelona is responsible for the reliability of the accounts, managing monthly closings and coordinating accounting and tax matters.
- Management of the accounting department with a Senior Accountant.
- Oversight of general and subsidiary accounting.
- Driving monthly closings.
- Preparation of monthly reporting (P&L, balance sheet, cash, KPIs).
- Coordination of accounting for the French and Spanish subsidiaries.
- Managing relationships during audit engagements and statutory audits.
- Monitoring cash and preparing short- and medium-term cash forecasts.
Requirements
- Master's degree (Bac+5): DSCG / Business school with a specialization in audit & management control / Chartered Accountancy school / Master's in Accounting and Management
- 4 years of experience in an audit/accounting firm or in a company in an Accounting/Finance Manager role.
- Good knowledge of consolidation is a plus.
- Proficient in closings, cut-off procedures, account reconciliations, and reporting.
- Comfortable working in a multi-entity environment and liaising with external stakeholders (firms, auditors, consolidator).
- Strong analytical skills, numerical aptitude, and financial communication abilities.
- Fluent French and English (interactions with international colleagues/partners). Spanish is a plus.
