About the role

  • Ambulatory Nursing Director leading patient care administration in outpatient settings at Cleveland Clinic. Collaborating with nurse managers for operational excellence and quality improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Directs the organization, coordination and administration of patient care in the outpatient setting
  • Serves as a resource to nurse managers, educators and staff regarding nursing practice
  • Oversees daily operations in conjunction with nurse managers
  • Ensures that nursing and clinical practice are in accordance with nursing and organizational philosophy, standards and goals
  • Contributes to strategic goals, staff development, quality improvement and patient safety initiatives

Requirements

  • BSN with Master's degree required
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Four years recent clinical practice to include at least one year healthcare management experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge, skills and experience in ambulatory
  • Prior experience in population health management preferred.
