Responsibilities
Manage CLW’s day-to-day tax function
Working with internal and external partners to ensure compliance to tax laws
Accurate tax-related financial reporting
Simplification of internal processes
Minimization of tax obligations across entities when applicable
Complete accurate federal and state income tax returns (including apportionment calculations)
Monitor and ensure compliance with regulations at the federal, state, and local level and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders
Manage income tax provision preparation with co-sourced partner
Manage sales tax filings with co-sourced partner
Manage property tax filing and payment
Oversee third-party co-sourcing arrangements
Explore value-creation and tax-minimization strategies with co-sourced partners
Manage relationships with external auditors on tax matters
Collaborate with other departments for tax-related entries for tax and book balance sheets
Forecast large tax-related cashflows
Ad Hoc analysis as needed
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required (Field of study: Accounting /Finance)
CPA Required (inactive OK)
Minimum of three years of experience in tax
Excel Tax Research Abilities - Advanced
Excellent written/verbal communication skills. Ability to analyze data, recognize when problems exist and research solutions.
