About the role

  • Tax Manager in the Compensation and Benefits Tax Advisory team managing various client projects. Overseeing tax analyses and providing expert strategic advice for compensation programs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee client projects by reviewing tax analysis, data entry, and tax research
  • Work hands-on in a variety of industries and areas, including executive compensation and fringe benefits
  • Drive project steps, deliverables, timelines, and firm-approved methodologies
  • Participate in calls with various client stakeholders and their advisors
  • Assist with researching, analyzing, and consulting on issues specific to employee benefits and compensation

Requirements

  • Minimum B.A. or B.S. degree or equivalent from an accredited university
  • One of the following active accreditations: licensed CPA in state of practice if eligible; if not CPA eligible, licensed attorney or Enrolled Agent
  • Minimum of 5 years of tax experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with good time management and organization skills
  • Ability to perform essential job functions including meeting client service and performance goals
  • Demonstrates project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously
  • Travel to assigned client locations is required
