Sponsorship Activations Manager at Clarion Events creating engaging sponsorship activations and managing event features. Overseeing a busy schedule of sponsored spaces and liaising with customers on their participation needs.
Responsibilities
Design, deliver and manage your sponsored event features/areas ensuring these are on brand and providing our customers the expected experience.
Design, deliver and manage the full sponsorship process from engagement right through to onsite activation.
Oversee a busy schedule of sponsored private meeting spaces; ensuring locations are allocated and that all their package needs are fulfilled.
Draft and place orders for all the relevant services including build, staffing, furniture, AV, catering, and signage and ensure these are correctly delivered onsite.
Closely manage your assigned budget numbers ensuring savings are maximised wherever possible.
Closely manage that we achieve the correct minimum yield on all activations.
Help identify new sponsorship opportunities within the range to enable the Sales team to drive additional revenue.
Liaise with customers, associations, and sponsors to ensure their package inclusions are successfully being realised. Respond quickly and calmly to requests, ensuring our fulfilment process is as frictionless as possible for them.
Liaise with internal stakeholders and ensure they are kept informed about everything you are planning.
Help foster a culture of Customer Success throughout the business. Drive consistency in internal processes and schedules across the portfolio so that we are better prepared to meet customer needs.
Requirements
Experience in the conference and exhibition industry or with a background in live events.
Proven Health and Safety experience.
Organised and methodical with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
Outstanding attention to detail.
Ability to see things through the lens of a customer.
Confident communicator – an ability to communicate verbally and/or in writing with a wide range of personalities and levels of seniority.
Experience in working to a budget.
Available to travel worldwide.
Focused, self-motivated, enthusiastic.
Able to meet deadlines and resolve problems under pressure.
Computer literate: proficient, versed, and working knowledge of various programmes and systems i.e. MS Office, Outlook. Experience with other web-based platforms like Salesforce, Pardot or Workday would be an advantage.
