Consultant Relationship Director overseeing consultant relationships within CLA's Client Accounting and Advisory Services practice. Responsible for project placements and consultant satisfaction in professional services.
Responsibilities
Work to retain current consultants, maximize utilization of consultants and serve as the point of contact for the sourcing engagements.
Analyze consultant skill sets and schedules to determine consultant options for proposed client projects.
Support multiple client relationship leaders and manage the full lifecycle of consultant project placement.
Determine relevant consultant skill sets needed to support market requirements.
Participate in interview, selection, and onboarding efforts for consultants.
Serve as a coach to consultants and help trouble-shoot client issues, scheduling issues, and team dynamics.
Manage accountabilities for multiple markets and supervise 40+ consultants.
Help promote a strong CLA culture and consultant satisfaction/retention.
Requirements
A minimum of 8 years of work experience; professional services or client service delivery is preferred.
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required.
Experience in a full-time accounting role (private or public) or consulting with a focus in either Audit, Accounting, and/or Finance preferred.
Prior supervisory experience required.
Prior recruiting or hiring experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Word programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.)
