About the role
- Senior Engineer focusing on lifecycle renewal of water and wastewater facilities assets. Collaborating on asset management processes and planning rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities
- Developing, managing and tracking the identified services Rehabilitation budget
- Being a point of contact and representing Asset Management on projects
- Compiling information on asset condition and renewal needs, including developing budget estimates and preliminary scoping
- Liaising with partners
- Participating in decision making and prioritization of rehabilitation needs
- Participating in the development of the annual budget, including facilitating Risk Workshops
- Participating in the development and review of Water Facilities Asset Management processes, procedures, templates and tools.
- Other duties, as assigned
Requirements
- Completion of 4 year university degree in Engineering or Applied Science from a recognized university, preferably in a Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Municipal Engineering related discipline
- Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible and practical experience in municipal engineering field with thorough knowledge of infrastructure system design, construction, operation and maintenance
- Proven leadership and supervisory experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) with Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO)
