Responsibilities
You are responsible for the technical direction in our IT projects: from the initial architectural decision through implementation support
You work closely with developers, Azure administrators, Product Owners and external partners
Technical project leadership (approx. 50%)
Technical guidance and management of IT projects (cloud migrations, integrations, new developments)
Aligning technical requirements with stakeholders and business units
Risk assessment and technical feasibility analyses
Coordination between development, operations and external service providers
Architecture & consulting (approx. 30%)
Design and further development of the system landscape (Azure, on-premises, hybrid)
Technical decisions regarding interfaces, data flows and integration patterns
Evaluation of build-vs-buy decisions
Definition of standards, patterns and best practices
Technical support & enablement (approx. 20%)
Point of contact for technical questions across all projects
Supporting teams with complex issues
Reviewing architectural decisions and technical concepts
Knowledge transfer and mentoring
Requirements
Several years of experience in technical project leadership or as a Solution/System Architect
Broad technical understanding across different domains: cloud infrastructure (Azure, M365), software development (APIs, databases, backend systems), networking and security fundamentals
Ability to explain complex technical relationships clearly
Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders (IT, business units, management)
German language skills C1
Experience with Azure architectures (AVD, Virtual Networks, Storage) (nice-to-have)
Knowledge of Python, PowerShell or other scripting/development languages (nice-to-have)
Certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent (nice-to-have)
Experience with agile methods and modern development practices (nice-to-have)
Affinity for AI-assisted tools and automation (nice-to-have)
