Responsibilities
Responsible for leading or undertaking complex departmental or branch projects assigned to the BSS
Providing project management services including defining project scope, preparing project documentation, and leading an assigned project team
Leading and undertaking the development and evaluation of corporate and departmental administrative policies and programs assigned to the BSS
Providing expertise to management and staff in the application of the policy development process, and the interpretation and application of policies, procedures, guidelines and service standards
Supporting performance improvement services for the modification, development and evaluation of policies, procedures, processes and service standards
Supporting the departments Stakeholder and Relationship Management Strategies
Leading or coordinating assigned corporate programs and initiatives, in accordance with corporate direction, and representing the department
Requirements
Completion of 4 year degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or related field
Minimum of 4 years of experience in the planning, development, communication, implementation and evaluation of policies, programs, processes, projects, and performance improvements
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an asset
Possess general knowledge of the Corporation, departmental business requirements, policies and legislation related to the department
Project management methods and techniques
Policy and procedure development and implementation
Research, statistical analysis and report writing techniques and processes
Program evaluation techniques
Working within a complex, political environment
Corporate computer systems and applications
Knowledge of applicable health and safety legislation, including the rights and duties of workers
