About the role

Requirements
- Completed Grade 10 or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year of experience in cleaning and maintaining public facilities
- Required to obtain a forklift operator license
- Valid Ontario Class G driver’s licence (or provincial equivalent) in good standing with no more than 6 demerit points
- Knowledge and experience in using tools, equipment, cleaning chemicals and materials
- Knowledge and experience in using tools and carrying out minor maintenance tasks
- Knowledge and experience with the tools, machinery and equipment typically used for landscaping and snow removal
- Basic landscaping practices
- Strong knowledge of and awareness about workplace safety issues
