About the role

  • Fournir un soutien administratif à la Direction de la sécurité au travail de la Ville d'Ottawa. Coordonner les demandes et les plaintes relatives à des problèmes de sécurité au travail.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Directorate of Occupational Safety, Prevention and Workplace Compliance
  • Coordinate requests and complaints related to workplace safety issues
  • Send case report forms within prescribed timeframes
  • Ensure records are complete and include all relevant documentation

Requirements

  • One year post-secondary certificate in Human Resources or a related field
  • At least three (3) years of administrative experience, preferably in human resources
  • Knowledge of the Workplace Safety and Insurance Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act and/or the ability and aptitude to learn the relevant sections of each
  • Experience working with datasets and conducting analysis (Excel)
  • Proficiency with SharePoint (libraries, lists and document sets)
  • Proficiency in Office 365
