Responsibilities
Provide guidance and assist to develop technical presales capacity in our partners
Collaborate with our internal Security Sales and Engineering teams within the territory in a pre-sales technical role
Showcase Cisco security product solutions, setting up demonstrations
Explain features and benefits to customers and design and configure products to address specific customer security needs
Form relationships with our customer’s and partner's key decision-makers, positioning Cisco security solutions aligned accurately to their requirements
Requirements
Relevant experience in the IT and Cybersecurity industry
Understanding of Cybersecurity solutions including Cisco's portfolio
Technical sales or pre-sales experience in Security specialization with Email, IDS/IPS, AV, Firewall, Advanced Malware Protection technologies
BS/BA (EE/CS) or equivalent highly preferred
Experience of administering Unix/Linux systems, low-layer (packet-level) IP networking and have a thorough understanding of network security
Solid presentation and interpersonal skills
Highly motivated self-starter that does not need day-to-day management
Desirable experience with Cisco security technologies, experience with programming languages such as UNIX shell, Perl or C
