About the role
- Senior Validation and Characterization Engineer validating and characterizing advanced mixed-signal products. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and mentoring engineering members in the process.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and report project status/progress to program management on a regular basis.
- Lead, mentor, and provide technical guidance to other engineering team members.
- Architect, and drive implementation of continuous improvements to test infrastructure and processes.
Requirements
- BSc, MSc or MEng in Electrical & Electronic Engineering with proven experience in an IC Validation or Test Engineering role.
- Advanced electrical engineering knowledge in analog, digital, power electronics or audio engineering. This includes mixed-signal building blocks such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, amplifiers, LDOs, SMPSs, signal processing and measurement, IC control/communication protocols.
- Experienced in scripting languages, Python preferred test automation and data analysis.
- Able to handle engineering tasks, on an as-needed basis, combining experience in Characterization, Failure Analysis, Test Development, Statistical analysis, and Customer Support
- Ability to organize assignments and schedule time to drive deliverables within established timelines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others to solve routine problems.
