About the role

  • Marketing Coordinator in international marketing at Cirque du Soleil. Updating systems, managing CRM emails, and collaborating with internal teams for promotions.

Responsibilities

  • Update information across various systems (sales spreadsheets, planning tools, etc.).
  • Set up and manage CRM emails in the system for all markets, coordinating with key internal stakeholders.
  • Support marketing and promotional activities and special projects by liaising with various Cirque du Soleil departments, agencies, promoters and third parties.
  • Serve as a liaison for the execution of DST communication initiatives at the national level in collaboration with Marketing Directors, the Director of Graphics and Content, and other internal teams.
  • Liaise with ticketing to provide links and ticketing tools to our external agencies.
  • Process merchandise orders and shipments for promotional activities.
  • Conduct research projects as needed.
  • Manage the department’s financial processes, including requesting/submitting invoices and tracking payments, as well as overall budget coordination.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Manager and Senior Digital Manager.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in marketing or project coordination.
  • Strong organizational skills, excellent interpersonal abilities, solid customer service knowledge, good arithmetic and record-keeping skills, proficiency with word processing and databases, and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Must be able to take initiative, coordinate tasks, and demonstrate project management and follow-up skills.
  • Strong typing and computer skills required; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and other software is required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field from a four-year post-secondary institution is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of marketing campaigns, media plans and promotional activities.
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written). Proficiency in a third language is strongly desired.
