About the role
- Calculate and manage ICMS/ISS obligations, prepare Perdcomps and SPED-Fiscal. Provide support for audits, legal and regulatory tax procedures.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for calculating ISS and ICMS (Brazilian service tax and state VAT);
- Preparation and monitoring of Perdcomps;
- Analysis of ICMS crediting, fixed assets, monophase items, and monitoring of special tax regimes;
- Support for internal and external audits;
- Support to the Legal Department on tax procedures involving PIS, COFINS, ISS and ICMS;
- Support for regulatory matters regarding CNDs (tax clearance certificates);
- Handling refused invoices and updating the IBPT table;
- Payment of the taxes listed above, as well as related ancillary obligations;
- Accounting reconciliations;
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- Experience with tax routines – tax closing and calculation of ICMS and ISS
- Experience preparing Perdcomps and SPED-Fiscal
- Experience with accounting reconciliations related to taxes
- Intermediate Excel
- Knowledge of tax legislation
