About the role

  • Medical Director for pediatric dermatology at Cincinnati Children’s, providing specialized care and conducting research. Leading a team and mentoring fellows in treating skin disorders in children.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as Medical Director of the Division of Dermatology
  • Conduct research and design clinical trials
  • Provide education and mentorship for Pediatric Dermatology Fellows
  • Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals in a clinical setting
  • Treat a wide range of skin, hair, and nail disorders in children
  • Participate in a variety of specialty services related to pediatric dermatology

Requirements

  • Fellowship training and board certification in pediatric dermatology
  • To provide safe, compassionate, and effective patient care for inpatient and clinic patients
  • To provide expertise in diagnosing and treating pediatric skin disorders, including Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB)
  • Participate in the training and education of residents and fellows
  • Participate in service/administrative activities of the Department/Division
  • Participate in research projects, either independently or in collaboration with other researchers, including clinical trials
  • Participate in scholarly activities as evidenced by publication of clinical investigation, clinical observations, reviews, chapters or books; participation in clinical trials, and/or clinical investigations; review manuscripts
