About the role

  • Lead QA and quality engineering for Full Stack (Web) and Salesforce (Service Cloud) teams, implementing automation, standardized QA processes, and SLI/SLO management. Promote Playwright automation and practical AI use to accelerate testing, reduce flakiness, and enable earlier quality validation across the SDLC.

Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain a common QA operating model across multiple teams, including standardized processes, quality gates, and quality metrics.
  • Raise automation maturity across teams by standardizing frameworks and patterns (Playwright), improving CI reliability and trust in automated suites, and reducing flakiness and obsolete scripts.
  • Introduce and promote practical, day-to-day use of AI to accelerate test design, automation development/refactoring, triage, documentation, and RCA outputs, while ensuring proper validation of results.
  • Help reduce QA bottlenecks by implementing intake and prioritization approaches and enabling more testing earlier in the SDLC across teams.
  • Define and support SLI/SLO management for critical workflows, partnering with stakeholders to align on targets and use them to inform release readiness and continuous improvement.
  • Lead quality engineering efforts for Full Stack (Web) and Salesforce (Service Cloud) development teams. Responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of automated tests and testing frameworks.
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test plans.
  • Execute and monitor automated tests, analyze results, and report defects.
  • Enhance testing methodologies and integrate new technologies.
  • Maintain documentation for automation, test results, and methodologies.
  • Work with development teams to reproduce, resolve, and verify bug fixes.
  • Stay current with testing tools and strategies, sharing insights to drive team improvement.
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the SDLC.
  • Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) efforts to identify and resolve defects.
  • Ensure consistent test execution, track results, and provide clear quality reports.
  • Structure and continuously improve QA processes within the teams.
  • Actively participate in team meetings, providing quality-related insights.
  • Communicate effectively in English with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Quality Analyst, Quality Engineer, SDET, Test Engineer, or in a similar QA role.
  • Strong proficiency in test automation using Playwright.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automated tests.
  • Solid understanding of Salesforce Service Cloud and full-stack development principles.
  • Experience creating detailed test plans, test cases, and executing various types of testing (functional, integration, regression, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to implement and facilitate Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; advanced proficiency preferred for global communication.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within Agile development teams.
  • Experience structuring and improving quality assurance processes.
  • Proven experience defining and implementing QA standards, quality gates, and metrics across multiple teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence across multiple stakeholders and team cultures, including supporting other QAs on prioritization and next steps.
  • Experience applying AI tools in day-to-day QA work to increase throughput and consistency.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Gherkin, and JavaScript.
  • Familiarity with API testing and tools (Postman, REST Assured, etc.).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment processes and tools (Vercel, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and regression testing.
  • Experience implementing testing processes: defining best practices, creating test cases, and leading root cause analysis meetings.
  • Experience with SQL queries and DBT models.
  • Relevant certifications in software testing (ISTQB, CSTE, etc.) are a plus.
