Responsibilities
- Hauling grain and agronomy products to local customers
- Working operations at the site when driving is slow
- Prepare trucks and railcars for loading/unloading
- Load and unload agricultural inputs
- Conduct and properly record repairs and maintenance tasks
- Regularly inspect in-use equipment
- Monitor and maintain quality of inventory
- Deliver products ensuring accurate and on-time deliveries
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
- Keep all work areas and vehicles in a clean condition
- Conduct regular housekeeping duties
- Complete appropriate record keeping
- Perform warehouse work including driving loader
- Report customer complaints and concerns
- Maintain a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies
Requirements
- Class A CDL or willing and able to obtain CDL license
- Must meet minimum age requirement
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English and understand highway traffic signs and signals
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Maintain or be able to obtain a CDL and DOT medical card.
- Ability to work additional hours and occasional weekends to meet business demands
- Hazmat, Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements preferred
- Agriculture background preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Bulk liquid, Pressure trailer, or Forklift experience preferred
