Responsibilities

  • Teach core courses in the Medical Coding and Billing program
  • Deliver engaging instruction in classroom, lab, and online settings
  • Utilize EHR and billing software systems as part of instruction
  • Mentor and support students to promote retention, certification readiness, and externship success
  • Create and maintain a positive, professional learning environment

Requirements

  • Certification in Medical Coding and/or Billing or related healthcare credential
  • 3-5 years of medical coding and billing experience
  • CPR certification preferred
  • Knowledge of EHR and billing software systems
  • Strong communication and mentoring skills
  • Teaching experience not required; training provided
