About the role

  • PR & Communications Executive driving communications strategy and content development at CFC. Collaborating with teams to enhance brand awareness and support broker engagement in a hybrid role.

Responsibilities

  • Handle day‑to‑day administration for the communications team using workflow tools (e.g., Monday.com), keeping the communications calendar up‑to‑date and coordinating team activity.
  • Track media coverage and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Assist with CFC’s awards programme, including drafting and submitting award entries.
  • Upload press releases and content to the online resource centre.
  • Work with underwriting teams to help create clear, engaging content.
  • Partner with the content team to ensure media coverage, blogs and articles align with wider marketing activities.
  • Support the digital team by sharing and amplifying coverage across social media channels.
  • Draft press releases, expert comments and reactive statements with guidance and support.
  • Contribute to communications campaigns that build brand awareness and support broker engagement.
  • Work closely with the Senior Communications Manager on campaign planning and delivery.
  • Build relationships with trade media and help manage journalist enquiries.
  • Support internal stakeholders and assist with ad‑hoc communication requests as needed.

  • Exceptional writing skills with strong attention to detail and an interest in creating compelling stories.
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship‑building skills, including with senior stakeholders.
  • High levels of resilience, emotional intelligence and the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
  • Quick learner able to pick up new tools, processes and industry knowledge at pace.
  • Educated to degree level, ideally in a related field; Communications, PR, Journalism, Marketing preferred
  • Early‑career experience gained within PR or communications, (B2B experience beneficial but not essential.
  • Good working knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and workflow tools e.g., Monday.com.
  • Solid understanding of key communications channels, including PR, owned, social and digital.
  • Familiarity with CMS platforms and basic design tools (desirable but not required)
