About the role
- Electronics technician for non-destructive testing at Mannesmann Precision Tubes in Hamm, responsible for maintenance and optimization of testing facilities.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and optimization of ultrasonic and eddy-current testing systems.
- Repair and refurbishment of electrical and electronic computer-controlled production equipment in tube manufacturing.
- Optimization of program sequences and programming of automation systems.
- Updating hardware documentation following changes and planning.
- Maintenance and repair of measurement and control systems.
- Planning and coordination of external services within project management throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Completed training as an Electronics Technician / Power Systems Electronics Technician and further training as an Electrical Engineer / Electrotechnician in automation, measurement and control technology, or equivalent qualification.
- Proficient programming skills with SIMATIC PLCs (Siemens).
- Good knowledge of non-destructive testing (NDT) or willingness to acquire the necessary knowledge.
- Switching authorization for medium- and high-voltage systems, or willingness to obtain it.
- Initial or extensive professional experience in the metalworking industry, ideally in maintenance.
- Confident user of common MS Office applications.
- Proficient in SAP PM.
- Systematic and analytical way of working.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
