Responsibilities
Provide operational leadership for multiple field locations within the River Valley Super District
Administer all warehouse functions to achieve timely and accurate product receipt, order fulfillment, and optimize resources and processes
Develop and implement processes in compliance with company policies and drive improvements
Communicate and educate employees on work instructions, policies, procedures, and process improvement initiatives
Ensure performance goals are set and achieved through proper execution of performance metrics for productivity, safety, quality, and service
Review KPI’s and records for accuracy and compliance with established procedures
Assess and establish appropriate warehouse staffing levels
Build high-performing teams by participating in the recruiting, training, and development of quality talent
Conduct investigations to determine the root cause of inventory inaccuracies and implement corrective actions
Achieve a safety culture involving high levels of employee engagement and address risks
Requirements
Associate Degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field, or 2 + years of leadership experience in a distribution or field branch operations environment
Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) preferred
Valid driver’s license.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
Proactive problem solver with the ability to provide creative solutions to a variety of challenges
Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and across functions
Ability to analyze data and draw sound conclusions and recommendations
Demonstrated process improvement skills with the ability to develop and implement processes
Ability to be reliable, open to change, and adaptable.
Ability to travel throughout the CESCO territory.
