Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain server-side logic for applications and systems;
• Implement efficient APIs to facilitate communication between the frontend and backend;
• Design and optimize database schemas;
• Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data;
• Optimize backend performance to ensure fast responses to client requests;
• Perform unit and integration tests to ensure correct backend functionality;
• Identify and fix bugs and performance issues;
• Document code, APIs and backend-related processes;
• Create documentation to facilitate system understanding and maintenance;
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers and other team members to ensure seamless frontend-backend integration;
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions about architecture and design;
• Stay up to date with backend development trends and best practices;
• Propose and implement continuous improvements to architecture and code.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Systems Analysis, Computer Science, Data Processing, Computer Engineering or related fields;
• Experience in Magento development (Magento 2 or Magento 1);
• Advanced knowledge of HTML/CSS/JavaScript and PHP, MySQL;
• Experience with payment gateways and module integration;
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress and Magento);
• Knowledge of multistore e-commerce setups;
• Microservices; REST and SOAP APIs;
• Experience with version control systems such as Git or Subversion;
• Knowledge of SEO, SEM, Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
