Responsibilities
- Assist in carrying out statutory inspections of lifting and safety equipment within wind turbines
- Support inspections in accordance with LOLER, PUWER and PSSR regulations
- Conduct testing and inspection of equipment using specialist tools and instruments
- Accurately document inspection results and produce reports
- Work both independently and as part of a team on wind energy sites across the UK and Europe
- Maintain high standards of health, safety and compliance in all working environments
Requirements
- Minimum age: 18 years old
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering college training background (essential)
- Minimum GCSE Grade 4/5 above in Maths & English
- Full UK Driving License
- Understanding of inspection processes on wind turbine equipment (Desirable but Not Essential)
- Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER and PSSR regulations (Desirable but Not Essential)
- Strong awareness of Health & Safety practices (Desirable but Not Essential)
- Understanding of the risk assessment process (Desirable but Not Essential)
