Audio/Software Engineer working on configuration, tuning, and qualification of AI audio products. Supporting Cerence’s speech enhancement and audio applications in vehicles globally.
Responsibilities
Review of the audio architecture for Audio AI applications in close cooperation with the customer
Analysis of customer and third-party requirements
Integration support for Cerence’s speech enhancement solution on embedded platforms
Accomplishment of audio path measurements on the bench
Analysis of test results and first level customer support for audio related issues
Configuration, tuning, qualification and certification of Cerence’s speech enhancement technology in the vehicle for embedded and cloud based ASR solutions
Ensure compliance with quality standards and prepare appropriate documentation
Development and adaptation of test tools and existing test scripts
Creation of customer demonstrations and support in the development of proof of concepts
Support in project acquisition
Requirements
Education: Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications technology, computer science or in a related field
Industry experience in one of these domains is preferred
Academic background in digital signal processing, speech and audio processing is desired
Minimum 2 years of work experience
Required skills: Programming skills in MATLAB, Python and C / C++
Good communicator who can represent Cerence professional services with customers
Ability and willingness to travel frequently across borders and internationally
Excellent language skills in English and at least elementary German or willingness to learn German
Positive can-do attitude and ability to work in a team.
