About the role

  • Software Engineer developing scalable application integrations for HR/Payroll solutions at Highmark Health. Involves technical design and integration development in an agile team setting.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for building complex and scalable application integrations for HR/Payroll solutions
  • Participate in all aspects of the application integration build process, including idea generation, business analysis, technical design, and integration development
  • Perform code reviews
  • Monitor work against production schedule and provide progress updates and report any issues

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Closely Related Field
  • 3 years of Proficiency in design and analysis of algorithms, data structures, and design patterns in the building and deploying of scalable systems
  • 3 years of Experience in at least one modern programming languages (Java, Python, JavaScript, ACE, IIB/ITX, Informatica preferred)
  • 3 years of Understanding of web services technologies such as REST, HTTPS, JSON
  • 3+ Years with Workday Skills like Workday Orchestration for Integrations, Workday Extend certification, Workday Studio, Workday Integration Tools, Workday Functional Knowledge, Security concepts
