About the role

• QA Tester developing software quality assurance expertise at CBTW consultancy. Collaborating on testing strategies and conducting software tests to improve quality standards.

Responsibilities

• As a QA Tester, you will develop your expertise and actively contribute to strengthening our collective skills in software quality assurance.
• Define the test strategy based on best practices and the specific requirements of each project.
• Collaborate with and coordinate stakeholders during planned test campaigns (UAT), providing them with support.
• Implement and take part in all test phases, monitoring and enforcing test processes in accordance with the company’s defined standards.
• Proactively propose improvements, particularly regarding processes and the approach to test phases.

Requirements

• You hold an engineering degree in Computer Science from a Grande École or a master’s degree from a university.
• You have a minimum of 5 years’ proven experience in testing.
• A background in backend development (APIs, web services) is a plus.
• You have excellent knowledge of test automation (Playwright, Tosca, Gherkin, Selenium, BDD, JUnit, and Java).
• Experience working in an Agile environment and possession of the ISTQB certification are required.
• You are comfortable communicating in French and English and possess strong investigative and analytical skills.
• Autonomous and determined, you enjoy taking on varied assignments that require regular self-challenge.
• Strong summarization skills, good listening abilities, and excellent interpersonal skills are important.
