About the role

  • Technical Project Manager overseeing technology-driven project initiatives. Accountable for project lifecycle management in a hybrid work setting based in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

  • The Technical Project Manager oversees, directs, and coordinates all aspects of technology-driven project initiatives.
  • Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end project lifecycle of moderate to complex business solutions, including project planning, coordination of stakeholders, requirements elicitation, business analysis, development of technical specifications, ongoing project monitoring, status reporting, and successful system implementation.
  • Provides critical support to the Technical Project Manager on data engineering initiatives within an AI adoption program.
  • This role includes managing cross-functional collaboration, tracking and reporting on deliverables, facilitating platform and data engineering activities, and ensuring cohesive alignment among business, engineering, and AI-focused stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is required and should be noted on the resume.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading technical projects or programs in data, analytics, and cloud environments.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience leading data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • At least 10 years of demonstrated ability to manage business intelligence, big data, and analytics projects in complex enterprise environments.
  • 10 years of experience supporting healthcare data initiatives; familiarity with standards such as FHIR, CCDA, and HL7 is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database technologies with at least 10 years’ experience supporting project planning, estimation, and issue resolution.
  • Proven leadership ability with 10 years’ experience managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and complex project timelines.
  • Minimum of 10 years of required working knowledge of cloud platforms, data systems, or enterprise applications.
  • Minimum of 10 years of required proactive leadership style with strong attention to detail and demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
