Responsibilities
- Senior Sourcing Specialist aligned to Cargill’s Animal Nutrition and Health business in India.
- Support and execute new sourcing strategies.
- Responsible for supplier evaluations, contract negotiations, managing procurement processes, and ensuring efficient and ethical sourcing of raw materials.
- Analyze market trends, develop purchase strategies, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Build and foster relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Micro ingredients sourcing and planning for Poultry & Dairy Nutrition/Feed including management of 100+ specialty ingredients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- At least 7-8 years of work experience post qualification in sourcing and procurement of raw materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Outlook etc.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Full time Masters in Business Administration preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in sourcing of micro ingredients for the Poultry & Dairy Nutrition /Feed category preferred.
- Excellent experience in developing, leading and executing purchasing strategies; tracking and reporting key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness preferred.
- Strong relationship management skills with the capability to relate to people at any level of business and management preferred.
- Excellent analytical and negotiation skills preferred.
- Strong experience in forecasting price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power; conducting cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking preferred.
