Responsibilities
- Perform activities in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Support the implementation and enforcement of health, safety, and process safety management processes and programs.
- Build partnerships and engage with production workers, senior site leadership, business and environmental leadership, and functional health and safety leadership.
- Develop an understanding of and execute health and safety processes, activities, and controls.
- Review and detail operational, construction, and other permits and identify associated requirements.
- Perform recordkeeping, analysis, and reporting tasks; identify opportunities for improvement and risk mitigation.
- Support preparation for company audits, government inspections, client visits, and data collection.
Requirements
- Completed/qualified Occupational Safety Technician with active registration
- Valid driver’s license (Category B) and availability to travel within western Mato Grosso
- Experience in EHS process management, preferably in a warehouse environment
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- Desirable: Degree in Occupational Safety Engineering (in progress or completed)
- Desirable: Knowledge of process safety
