About the role

Technical Engineering Lead managing an engineering team at Honeywell Aerospace in Krakow. Focus on innovative aerospace dashboard products with a hybrid work model.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage engineering team – employee development & motivation, drive improvements to team performance and project execution through team coaching & high impact work practices.
Project delivery, strategy development, implementation of standards, processes, and tools
Re-architect and transform applications into scalable microservices
Design and build scalable systems utilizing microservices architecture. Deploy applications using Docker and manage deployments with Kubernetes. Develop APIs to facilitate secure and efficient data exchanges.
Architect secure data management solutions with an emphasis on compliance and data security standards within a zero-trust framework using PostgreSQL and SQL Server as well as NoSQL databases.
Work closely with systems engineers, data scientists, and cloud architects to align on project objectives, facilitating a collaborative work environment.

University education majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or related fields.
5+ years of experience in leadership role with proven track of leading teams to successful project delivery with significant engineering experience and proficiency in Java + Spring Boot or Node.js + TypeScript (NestJS) for backend development, ReactJS + TypeScript for frontend roles.
Fluent command of English language.
Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity.
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done. A strong collaborative approach, with a proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
