Software Engineer the Maps team developing intuitive frontend tools for complex geospatial data workflows. Collaborating with cross-functional teams within TomTom’s Location Technology Products unit.
Responsibilities
Develop and enhance frontend components for the map data editing application using JavaScript and modern UI frameworks.
Translate product requirements and design concepts into functional, user-friendly interfaces.
Contribute to architectural and design discussions with a focus on frontend scalability and performance.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint rituals.
Support team best practices for frontend development and overall engineering quality.
Assist in diagnosing and resolving production issues.
Requirements
BA in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
Minimum of 2 years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in JavaScript and familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and tooling.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and component-based architecture.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Must be based within commuting distance of Lebanon, New Hampshire
