About the role

  • Risk Manager overseeing compliance in Public-Private Partnerships infrastructure projects at Honeywell. Ensuring legal and contractual obligations are met while fostering stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all parties meet their stated commitments.
  • Review project contracts for potential risks and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Develop metrics to track compliance performance and report on project adherence to regulations and internal policies.
  • Create performance dashboards and regular reports for stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison among project teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies.
  • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to address compliance issues proactively.
  • Identify and analyze compliance risks associated with project operations, recommending mitigation strategies.
  • Document compliance issues and oversee resolutions, ensuring processes are in place to prevent recurrence.
  • Collaborate in developing compliance policies and procedures tailored to project needs.
  • Lead training sessions to educate project teams on compliance requirements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance audits, including preparation for internal and external reviews.
  • Report on compliance status to upper management, summarizing compliance issues and corrective actions taken.
  • Work closely with legal teams to interpret regulations and ensure project implementations align with current laws.
  • Manage contract renewals and renegotiations, addressing compliance considerations effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as law, business administration, project management, or compliance.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality management and compliance oversight.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with regulatory frameworks specific to Public-Private Partnerships (P3).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience with risk management and building quality management systems in a services organization.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% within Canada.
