Responsibilities
Monitor compliance with contractual obligations throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring that all parties meet their stated commitments.
Review project contracts for potential risks and compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Develop metrics to track compliance performance and report on project adherence to regulations and internal policies.
Create performance dashboards and regular reports for stakeholders.
Act as a liaison among project teams, external contractors, and regulatory bodies.
Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders to address compliance issues proactively.
Identify and analyze compliance risks associated with project operations, recommending mitigation strategies.
Document compliance issues and oversee resolutions, ensuring processes are in place to prevent recurrence.
Collaborate in developing compliance policies and procedures tailored to project needs.
Lead training sessions to educate project teams on compliance requirements.
Maintain comprehensive documentation for compliance audits, including preparation for internal and external reviews.
Report on compliance status to upper management, summarizing compliance issues and corrective actions taken.
Work closely with legal teams to interpret regulations and ensure project implementations align with current laws.
Manage contract renewals and renegotiations, addressing compliance considerations effectively.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as law, business administration, project management, or compliance.
Minimum of 7 years of experience in Quality management and compliance oversight.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with regulatory frameworks specific to Public-Private Partnerships (P3).
Minimum of 5 years of experience with risk management and building quality management systems in a services organization.
Willingness to travel up to 50% within Canada.
