Hardware Engineer I at Honeywell developing Airborne 3D Radar Technologies in the Communication, Navigation and Surveillance group, contributing to next-generation aircraft safety.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with senior engineers to develop, test and validate hardware components for next-generation aircraft weather radar systems
Execute project subtasks (Designing, Testing, etc) and follow methodologies that push forward new concepts or refine existing concepts
Refine engineering designs by drafting and releasing drawing changes in Team Center
Troubleshoot, debug and diagnose product performance issues
Assist in product and process certification for customer acceptance
Collaborate with obsolescence team in identifying and qualifying alternate part, keeping our products at the cutting edge of technology
Communicate any non-compliance incidents and results of internal project audits to stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
Relevant academic, internship, project or professional experience in hardware engineering or related fields
Degree in Electrical, Hardware Engineering or related field
Familiarity with a variety of hardware engineering principles, methodologies and specifications
Experience in Aerospace, Avionics, Radar, RF or related is a plus
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment
A passion for aerospace technology and commitment to continuous learning
