About the role

  • Senior Hardware Engineer verifying mechanical systems for innovative Brain-Computer Interface products. Collaborating with a dedicated team focused on restoring autonomy to people living with disabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Design and prototyping of mechanical components and assemblies including rapid prototyping, machining, injection molding
  • Develop electromechanical test systems for characterizing and testing hardware devices
  • Develop test protocols, implement design verification testing, oversee testing with vendors
  • Perform analysis of test data, author technical reports, oversee test reports from vendors
  • Develop component and assembly drawings including tolerance stack-ups and analyses
  • Develop and execute design verification activities

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of industry experience in engineering electro-mechanical hardware devices
  • Experience with hands-on machining or rapid prototyping
  • Experience analyzing data from physical systems
  • Experience working within a quality system.
  • Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong collaboration mindset
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Occasional travel to vendors (<10%)
