About the role
- Senior Hardware Engineer verifying mechanical systems for innovative Brain-Computer Interface products. Collaborating with a dedicated team focused on restoring autonomy to people living with disabilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and prototyping of mechanical components and assemblies including rapid prototyping, machining, injection molding
- Develop electromechanical test systems for characterizing and testing hardware devices
- Develop test protocols, implement design verification testing, oversee testing with vendors
- Perform analysis of test data, author technical reports, oversee test reports from vendors
- Develop component and assembly drawings including tolerance stack-ups and analyses
- Develop and execute design verification activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 7 years of industry experience in engineering electro-mechanical hardware devices
- Experience with hands-on machining or rapid prototyping
- Experience analyzing data from physical systems
- Experience working within a quality system.
- Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (preferred)
- Strong collaboration mindset
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- Occasional travel to vendors (<10%)
