Responsibilities
Development of components and devices for use in explosive atmospheres
Design of analog and digital circuits, followed by construction and testing of prototypes, and final functional testing and product release
Creation of schematics and PCB layouts
Integration and support of embedded hardware systems with international partner companies
Supervision and execution of laboratory experiments and EMC measurements
Preparation of test instructions and test reports
Project coordination and collaboration with international external development service providers/partners and production
Creation and monitoring of project schedules as well as documentation of a development process (requirements specification, FMEA, risk analysis, etc.)
Requirements
Completed vocational training with technical further education or a degree in electronics
Experience in electronic hardware development in the areas of circuit design, simulation, and PCB layout
Ideally, team experience in product design – from concept to product launch
Experience with battery-powered (lithium-ion), mobile devices
Ideally experience with standards and bus technologies, e.g., MIPI CSI/DSI, I2C, 1-wire, SD, uSIM, USB
Knowledge of embedded hardware systems such as Qualcomm platforms is advantageous
Design and layout experience for high-speed data lines would be desirable
Good knowledge of MS Office
German and English spoken and written
