About the role

Web Designer responsible for leading the visual design of web applications at Yardi Romania. Collaborating with clients and teams to deliver user-friendly and functional websites.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand project requirements, brand guidelines, and target audience preferences.
Define and develop the overall look, feel, and style of the website, including color schemes, layout, typography, and imagery, in line with the client's brand identity.
Design and refine wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to establish structure, functionality, and user flow before final implementation.
Build and implement user interfaces using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Ensure responsive, accessible, and intuitive design across all devices and screen sizes, providing a seamless user experience.
Stay current with emerging design trends, tools, and technologies, and share insights to help the team continuously improve.

Proficiency in Figma (primary design tool), with solid experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
3+ years of experience in web-based graphic or interface design, with practical understanding of front-end technologies such as JavaScript or jQuery.
Strong knowledge of modern web UI technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, and CSS preprocessors (SASS/LESS).
Bachelor’s degree in Web Design and Development, Art, or a related field - or equivalent education and experience.
Excellent design sense and creativity, with the ability to create visually appealing layouts, color schemes, typography, and elements consistent with brand identity.
Strong communication skills in English (both verbal and written).
Ability to approach design challenges with creativity and problem-solving skills, including troubleshooting design and layout issues.
Awareness of accessibility and SEO principles, ensuring websites are usable by individuals with disabilities and optimized for visibility.
Familiarity with Bootstrap and Flexbox for responsive layouts is considered a plus.
Experience with user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
