Project Reporting Analyst ensuring project health and governance in the Data & Digital division. Collaborating with project managers and senior leadership for effective reporting and delivery.
Responsibilities
The Project Reporting Analyst position sits within the Data & Digital division and serves as a dedicated quality assurance and oversight function within the Delivery Branch.
Responsible for monitoring, tracking, and reporting on project health across the portfolio, ensuring project managers maintain appropriate standards in project delivery, governance, and reporting.
Acts as a critical liaison between individual projects and senior leadership, providing early warning systems for projects requiring intervention or support.
Works collaboratively with Portfolio Director, to assure project management practices and governance and provide detailed monthly reporting.
Provides expert systems and administrative support to project and program managers, ensuring requests and artefacts are accurately managed across various platforms.
Monitors the health of projects within the portfolio, conducting assurance activities across risk, budget, scheduling, and governance, and ensuring alignment with established methodologies and stage-gate requirements.
Prepares clear and comprehensive reporting on project performance, escalating issues where required and supporting consistent delivery across the project lifecycle.
Requirements
Experience in traditional project management and agile delivery. (mandatory)
Demonstrated experience (at least 3 years) managing data and digital projects or working in the PMO function in a government or large private sector organisation. (mandatory)
Experience relevant to the accountabilities and capabilities of the role. (mandatory)
