Responsibilities
Conduct research on experimental hypersonics topics
Design and analyse high-speed air-breathing propulsion systems
Support the effective supervision of graduate Defence engineers and cadets
Provide administrative and laboratory support within the DSTG research group
Requirements
Completed or near completion of PhD in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering
Strong preference for experience with hypersonic test facilities
Ability to hold at minimum an Australian NV1 security clearance
Ability to work independently and constructively within a group
Willingness to supervise Defence engineers and cadets
Ability to promote and adhere to a positive safety culture
High level interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
