About the role

Responsibilities
- Support UNESCO’s capacity-building and policy initiatives for the implementation of the 2019 Recommendation on OER.
- Support the organization of at least 5 regional information meetings.
- Support the preparation and launch of communication materials on OER.
- Provide follow-up support for communication projects.
- Organize at least 2 training sessions on the Dubai Declaration, OER, and Open Solutions.
- Support the continuation and expansion of online collaborative activities through the UNESCO OER Dynamic Coalition Portal.
Requirements
- Advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent) in education, communication, social sciences or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience at the international level in education and/or communication and information and/or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, excellent writing skills.
- Ability to implement communications and publications strategies.
- Demonstrated ability to use office equipment with computer literacy in graphic design, publication design, multimedia products development, web design, web content, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of English and very good knowledge of French.
